Greetings Men of Influence,

   Guy's we had a great men's fellowship last Saturday even though it was short notice. There were about 20 men in attendance and we had an interactive discussion about vision and direction for the ministry in 2010. As we look ahead to fulfilling the vision we believe God has given us for this year. It was decided at this meeting that we will be much more intentional this year at encouraging young men to be a part of the fellowship by setting up some fellowship events that will appeal to our younger men. This will probably make some of us older men have to be outside our comfort zone but we are making a commitment to engage and mentor every man from the age of 10 up. I am excited that Danny McCullough and Tyson Gore will be working with Chris Driggers to plan some fellowship meetings that will be different from our regular breakfast. Pray for these men as they think outside the box.

  Our Sweetheart Banquet is just two weeks away and we are getting a great response. The sign up sheet at Abundant Life already has 20 couples on it. Remember we are planning on only 50 couples so get registered today. Call the Abundant Life Christian Assembly office at 622-5513 or the Marion Oaks AG office at 347-3001 to register. The cost is 20.00 per couple and must be paid by February 7^th. Marion Oaks AG will be hosting the banquet which will have a Caribbean theme. We are also requesting that every couple loan us a wedding picture which will be returned at the banquet. We will be having a "Nearly Newlywed Game", and we have chosen some great contestants for our panel. You don't want to miss this years banquet.

   I also want to make everyone aware of the upcoming Iron Sharpens Iron conference in Jacksonville on the 27^th of February. Our keynote speakers for this conference are Kenny Luck and Bruce Wilkinson. You can register and get more information on the FMI and ISI websites.
